The one and only Wayne Gretzky has autographed this outstanding NHLPA jersey not once but twice. The NHLPA logo is screened onto the white knit jersey which still has its original size 54 and “ProWear” manufacturers tags sewn into the neck. The Great One has signed in black sharpie the right breast as well as the red part of the first twill “9” in the two-tone red and blue No. 99 sewn onto the back. Two-tone numbers are also sewn onto each sleeve and a Bauer logo is embroidered onto the bottom right rear hem. Gretzky’s name is spelled out in individual blue letters sewn onto a white nameplate on the back of the jersey. Gretzky is shown wearing the jersey on the front and back cover of his All-Star Hockey Volume 2 video as well as on the cover of the original and unopened Upper Deck box of 16 packs of hockey cards. [red]Addendum; It has come to our attention that Wayne Gretzky wore a few different jerseys during the shoot of the film (the Wayne Gretzky drills). According to our consignor, this jersey was the one worn by Wayne Gretzky during the shooting of the roller hockey drills. The jersey was acquired from the Executive Producer and former NHLPA executive in charge of the video shoot.[/red]
