The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
Here are a couple of rare team issued Montreal Canadiens jerseys from the 1992-93 Stanley Cup season. Both feature the Canadiens’ 1993 All-Star Game logo crest sewn onto the right breast, with an extra patch of white fabric sewn on underneath the All-Star logo on Jim Campbell’s white No. 44 gamer, which exhibits good paint transfer on the bottom of the rear hem. The red jersey is a No. 41 issued to Valeri Bure. Campbell was chosen 28th overall by Montreal in the second round of the 1991 entry draft, while Bure was also a second-round pick the following year, 33rd overall. Both jerseys have their original Maska neck tags. Campbell’s jersey has its original size 52 tag while Bure’s No. 41 has its original size 50 tag.
