Joe Medwick was one of the Cardinals’ and baseball’s all-time greats who played during the pre-war era. He was born in 1911 and passed away in 1975. In between he had an outstanding and 17-year big league career. Medwick was a 10-time All-Star with a .324 lifetime batting average. His first 11 years saw him bat over .300 in each season while winning the batting crown in 1937. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1968 and autographed this postcard before his passing. The signature is PSA/DNA certified and rates 8/10.
