A certified member of the famed Triple Gold Club, Jonathan Toews has a career resume that features three Stanley Cup Championships, a Conn Smythe Trophy, two Olympic gold medals, and of course, World Championship gold. Hailing from his first season as Chicago's captain in which he resisted 69 points in 82 games played as the Blackhawks appeared in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2002, offered here is this stick used by Toews during the 2008-09 campaign. An Easton Synergy SE16 model twig with "Toews 19" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original white tape job over the handle/knob, which has had Toews' number "19" penned at the bottom of it on the front side of the shaft in black marker ink, while the blade tape has been removed to facilitate Jonathan's flowing silver marker ink signature that displays with a decent amount of fading from age. Exhibiting good game-wear throughout, numerous marks and abrasions are present over the length of the shaft as well as over the lower shaft and heel. Additionally, the stick remains free from any cracks or breaks and shows residue over its former tape job on the bottom side of the blade.
