All-Star goalie Jaroslav Halak worked his way up through the Montreal Canadiens’ minor-league system to earn his spot in the NHL. Halak’s 2007-08 AHL Hamilton Bulldogs game-worn jersey is from his third straight stellar campaign with the Habs’ top minor league affiliate. Jaro went 15-10-2 with two shutouts, a 2.10 goals-against-average and a .929 save percentage in 28 games with Hamilton in 2007-08, when he got called up to Montreal for a second time in as many seasons before sticking with the Canadiens for good in 2008-09. There is a v-shaped team repair around the bottom right point on the Bulldogs crest sewn on the front of the jersey, which has a few marks around the dog’s left eye and a puck mark with an unrepaired burn hole to its right on the left front. There is a black mark on the white piping on the front left sleeve seam and a few more black marks on the front of the left shoulder, a few more black marks on the sleeves, and several fabric pulls on the left front. Goalie style and size 58 flag tags sit in the back of the tie-neck collar below the Reebok AHL Authentic Jersey tagging. Montreal Canadiens “CH” crest patches are sewn on each shoulder and a Pepsi sponsor’s patch is sewn on the right breast. The AHL patch is sewn on the rear hem and a MeiGray patch is sewn inside the rear hem.
