Drafted 48th overall in 1991 by the New York Islanders, “Noodles” as he is affectionately known, would backstop six NHL clubs over a total of 254 games. Suiting up for the team that drafted him to the tune of 56 games over the course of three (3) different seasons, offered here is this Islanders jersey worn by McLennan during the 1995-96 season. Made by CCM, size "58" and Maska labels are affixed to the inner collar while the logos of CCM and the NHL have both been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with the infamous Islanders “Fisherman” crest that lasted only two seasons and matching light house alternate logo patches over both shoulders, McLennan's number “29” has been added over the sleeves and verso in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals while “McLennan” is spelt out in single layer white textured twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting game-wear in the form of a team repair at the left side o the team crest and puck marks over the lower front as well as both sleeves, pilling is found at the right cuff along with over the numbers of both sleeves. With additional wear found via another pair of large team repairs along the right side and more pilling over the reverse name and numbers, the fight strap remains affixed on the interior. Accompanied by an LOA, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #1525380364 (January 25th, 1995 vs Washington) to the team repair at the left side of the team crest.
