Jack Schmidt Bee Hive photo is one of the scarcest and most valuable among Boston Bruins representatives, with both the picture and the blue backing here having survived in impressive crease-free condition. Light corner wear (backing) is to note, while also to be aware of is the name and address (in Halifax, NS) of a previous owner, penned to the front of the blue paper and only viewable when the picture itself is lifted. A Saskatchewan native, Schmidt spent only the 1942-43 season with the Bruins, helping explain his picture’s scarcity.
