The ultimate recognition for one’s lifetime spent in hockey, induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame is an honour that has been bestowed on only 423 individuals over the categories of Player, Builder and On-Ice Officials since it's establishment in historic Kingston, Ontario in 1943. Currently situated in Toronto, Ontario, offered here is this trio of Hockey Hall of Fame lamppost banners that were hung around the facility in Downtown Toronto to celebrate important moments throughout its history. All measuring roughly 27 1/2" in width and 71" in length, the first banner was commissioned to celebrate the Hall of Fame's 10th Anniversary of their current location at BCE Place in Downtown Toronto (it was previously housed on the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition) and features a large Hall of Fame logo as well as imagery of the front of the building and the date it was established in its current location (June 18th, 1993) while it has also been signed at the top on one side by 1992 HHOF inductee, Marcel Dionne with a now heavily faded signature. Additionally, also present are similarly designed banners in commemoration of the Stanley Cup's 125th birthday and the National Hockey League's centennial season in 2017. Both featuring logos for the Hall of Fame and the event being displayed, the banners were done in promotion for special exhibits the Hall was showcasing at that time in celebration of those special moments. With all three (3) sporting the same graphics over both sides, each banner has metal grommets at either one or both sides and remain in good condition white showing light wear from being exposed to the outdoor elements for an extended period of time and could benefit from a good cleaning. Also including a grouping of other various hockey memorabilia items, included are things such as a November 14th, 1933 program from a game between the Bruins and Red Wings at Boston Garden, a framed photo signed by Yvan Cournoyer, part a program from a game between the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs that took place on October 17th, 1970, an unsigned vintage photo of Maurice Richard, a seemingly complete set of 1991-92 Kraft Peanut Butter hockey cards, and a page depicting a hockey scene on "the ice in America" from the January 8th, 1898 issue of The Illustrated London News.
