Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
The driving force behind the Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup dynasty in the mid-to-late-1970s, Guy Lafleur would average just over 130 points-per-season during those four victorious years, scoring over 220 regular season goals. We have a twice-signed stick used by The Flower during that glorious era with les Canadiens in the mid-1970s. A harder-to-find Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger model, “Lafleur” factory graphics grace each side of the shaft, with Guy’s familiar black tape job over the blade and white-over-black on the handle/knob. Both striping accents are also intact, with heavy wear to the stick’s graphics. Guy has signed over the lower shaft in black marker, with a somewhat lighter and more vintage ballpoint signature placed higher up, on the same side of the shaft. Nice use is exhibited, with wear to the factory graphics as mentioned, along with additional wear to the underside of the blade and lower shaft.
