From his best NHL season to date, we have a pair of pants that were worn by Russian superstar Evgeni Malkin in both the 2008-09 regular season and playoffs, and they’ve been photo-matched. Warrior Mia models in solid black, an embroidered Penguins patch resides on the front right leg, with an NHL shield crest on the back. “71” has been handwritten in marker along the interior tail bone padding, with all the lacing and strapping appearing intact. Great use is shown on the heavy pair, with board burns, paint transfer and numerous abrasions, along with a team repair on the left leg. Malkin would finish the 2008-09 campaign with a career-high 113 points, along with a Hart Memorial and Art Ross Trophy while on his way to his first Stanley Cup championship.
