After his memorable time with the Philadelphia Flyers and trio of seasons in Manhattan with the Rangers, Eric Lindros signed a one-year deal with his hometown province Maple Leafs in 2007 to the tune of $1.55 million. Enjoying 22 points scored in his first 32 games, Lindros would injury his wrist on December 10th, and shortly after returning to the Leafs line-up in late-February, would again injure it during the second period of the March 4th contest vs Ottawa, ending his season and stint in Toronto. This is the Leafs jersey Lindros wore during the March 4th game, his last with Toronto. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Featuring the club’s famous team crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, “88” appears over the sleeves and verso in tri-colour tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. A patch from MeiGray numbered “C09913” resides on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
Sporting board burns with a small resulting hole over the right elbow, there are a few small stains over the team crest, with overall light wear to the jersey. Getty Image #57299153 (March 4, 2006) has been matched to the black marks in the top area of the "88" on the right sleeve.
