Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
The league's all-time leading scorer upon his retirement in 1954, Elmer Lach would spend his entire HOF career in a Habs’ sweater, scoring an impressive 623 points over 664 regular season games. We have a Michel Lapensee retirement night lithograph featuring the Saskatchewan native, signed by both the artist and Lach. At 22 ½” x 26 ½”, Lach is portrayed in full colour with a number of historic images pictured, with Elmer signing along the bottom right in blue marker, with the artist signing just beneath in pencil. Numbered “7/100” along the bottom left, the litho will come tightly rolled, with a few minor creases, stains and surface indentations present.
