Gaining seasoning in his native Russia for numerous seasons with Krylya Sovetov Moscow before making his NHL debut with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1991-92, Dmitri Mironov dressed for five different NHL clubs throughout his career, including a single season with the Detroit Red Wings, in 1997-98. This Red Wings jersey was worn by Mironov with the club during the Stanley Cup championship season of 1997-98, where he saw action in 11 regular-season games and 7 playoff matches. Nike and Center Ice labels with “54” sizing are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the classic winged-wheel team crest with embroidered detailing, the V-neck sweater has been accented with “15” over the sleeves and verso in single twill, with “Mironov” arching across the upper reverse in individual red twill letters. The jersey also sports the VK&SM patch over the right breast for Vladimir Konstantinov and Sergei Mnatsakanov, with a HockeyTown hologram affixed to the collar. Heavy game-use is exhibited on the Motor City garment, with numerous dark marks over the lower front and sleeves, with burns over each elbow and minor pilling in spots. The team patch is screened to the inside hem, and it denotes the garment as a “2nd Set” specimen. A HockeyTown Authentics COA featuring a matching hologram affixed will accompany the piece along with a MeiGray COR.
Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #307605 (April 15th, 1998 vs Dallas) to the blue board paint transfer mark at the bottom of the white stripe of the left sleeve.
