Longtime Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson’s signed 1997 Eastern Conference All-Stars game-worn jersey is from his second straight ASG appearance at the outset of his remarkable NHL career. Alfredsson, the 1995-96 Calder Trophy winner, signed in black marker with the No. 9 he wore in the 1997 midseason classic in San Jose behind the team crest inside his gamer, one of five jerseys made up for the Swedish right wing. "1997 NHL All-Star Game - San Jose" is stamped in red inside the fight strap, which has a registered identification number that identifies it as one of the five jerseys issued to Alfie for the weekend. Game wear shows in marks on the right sleeve.
CCM Authentic On Ice Game Jersey tagging in the back of the neck has an NHL Center Ice flag tag at the bottom with CCM and size 56 flag tags behind it. CCM laundry instruction flag tag is sewn inside the left seam. Senators patch is sewn on the left shoulder and the 1997 NHL All-Star Game patch is sewn on the right shoulder. There is a spot of blue paint transfer on the rear hem, which has a few stains, and there are red stains on the inside of the rear tail from the stamp on the fight strap. Alfredsson’s five game-worn jerseys were made for each of one of the game’s three periods, as well as the team photo shoot and pre-game warmup skate.
