This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
Playing for eight different NHL clubs throughout his career, Dan Quinn was drafted by Calgary in 1983, and helped the club advance to the Stanley Cup finals in 1986. Awarded for Calgary's status as Campbell Conference playoff champions in 1985-86, we have the Clarence Campbell championship trophy originally presented to Quinn. At 11” in height, the silver-plated handled cup with removable lid and chased detailing sits atop a hexagon-shaped 3-inch wooden base and is engraved “Dan Quinn - Calgary Flames - 1985-86” on one side, with the name of the trophy and its "1968" year of inception on the other. Originally from the personal collection of Dan Quinn, the trophy exhibits some wear to the finish over the handles, lid and base, with some even tarnishing taking place throughout. The green felt underside has a sticker from maker Boffey.
