The final season of his 15-year National Hockey League career in which he would hoist Lord Stanley's coveted Cup twice, Brian Skrudland and the Dallas Stars would once again make it back to the big dance of the Stanley Cup Finals in 1999-2000, dropping the series to the New Jersey Devils in six (6) games. Playing in 22 games throughout the course of the year, offered here is this Dallas Stars 1999-2000 team-signed limited-edition framed team photograph display. Featuring a team photo that measures approx. 19 1/2" x 10", the photo is displayed under alternating gold and green coloured mattes with a white coloured matte layer on top of everything as a final layer which has also had gold coloured Dallas Stars and NHL shield logos applied to the bottom that flank a metal gold coloured information plaque that lists all the players featured in the photo. Serial numbered "10/220" in the bottom right hand corner with everything housed in a deep brown wooden frame that shows some wear to the corners and edges, full dimensions measure out to approximately 36" x 30". Having been signed by forty-four (44) members of that years Stars squad over the white matte surrounding the photo, those that have signed the piece include the likes of Lukowich, Sim, Chambers, Skrudland, Langenbrunner, Muller, Keane, Sloan, Morrow, Gavey, Zubov, Jarvis (coach), Modano, Gainey (GM), Hitchcock (coach), Hatcher, Carbonneau, Fernandez and numerous others. All of the autographs display well with no flaws whatsoever. Additionally, also included with the lot is a stick issued to Skrudland during the season that has been signed over one side by twenty-five (25) members of the 1998-99 Stanley Cup champion Stars. Painted white over the forehand side, those that have signed the stick in black marker ink include; Chambers, Reid, Lehtinen, Hrkac, Sydor, Marshall, Hitchcock, Belfour, Hogue, Fernandez, Plante, Turek, Lukowich, Wilson, Jarvis, Langenbrunner, Sloan, Zubov, Matvichuk, Ludwig, Letang, Hatcher, Modano and Skrudland, all the autographs display well and remain legible with minimal wear while the stick itself also remains in excellent condition. Hailing from his personal collection, an LOA signed by Skrudland will accompany the lot.
