Enjoying a noteworthy career backstopping six different NHL clubs despite going undrafted, Curtis Joseph attended the University of Wisconsin for one season before making his NHL debut for St Louis, in 1989-90. Best remembered as a Toronto Maple Leaf, Joseph spent a single season in Motown, and we have a photo-matched and signed Red Wings jersey from 2002-03 worn by the first goaltender in history to have 30 or more wins with five different teams. “Goalie Style” labeling with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. There is also a "2" screened to the collar along with a Hockeytown hologram. Styled with the classic Red Wings team crest with embroidered detailing, “31” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in single twill. Joseph has signed the reverse “1” in black marker. Sporting heavy game-use with a number of puck and stick marks throughout, there are also dual team repairs to each lower sleeve along with an additional repair to the lower front, with red paint transfer in a number of areas. Two accompanying printed Getty Images have been matched to marks on the front of the jersey, while a copy of Joseph’s 2003-04 Upper Deck Victory hockey card that also accompanies appears to the show the dark mark over the front left shoulder. A COA from the Red Wings will accompany.
