A veteran of 814 National Hockey League contests, Cliff Koroll would spend his entire career in the Windy City after developing beforehand with three (3) years at the University of Denver playing for the Pioneers. Offered here, and hailing from a season in which he registered 45 points in 76 games played, is this photo-matched Black Hawks jersey donned by Koroll during the 1971-72 campaign. Made by Wilson and featuring a tattered brand tag affixed to the inner collar above an affixed Gunzo's label, the bright red durene garment measures out to roughly a size "48". Decorated over the front of the jersey with Chicago's famed Indian head team crest that features beautifully chain-stitched details throughout its entirety, the shoulders have been accented with matching tomahawk alternate logo crests that once again chain-stitched details throughout as well. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Koroll's number "20" in single layer white tackle twill numerals and featuring no name over the upper reverse, Koroll has signed over the right breast with a black marker ink signature that displays without issue. Exhibiting excellent game-wear, approximately fifteen (15) team repairs are spread throughout the entirety of the piece while stick marks are observed over the front, reverse and both sleeves. Displaying additional battle scars in the form of board burns and scuff marks of varying degrees over both sleeves and a tiny unrepaired hole on the lower reverse left side, excellent pilling and fraying is exhibited throughout the interior where a garter style fight strap has been utilized, having been sewn through the bottom of the "2" on the reverse. Of note, some tears/small rips are found in the twill numbers on the reverse. Regarding the aforementioned photo-match, the jersey has been matched with an included image to the placement of the numbers on the right sleeve as well as to the uneven connection of the stripes at the seam on the right side of the piece.
