Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
The winningest goaltender in the century plus history of the Montreal Canadiens, Carey Price has won every conceivable trophy throughout his soon-to-be Hall of Fame career. Currently Price is not officially retired. His contract runs through the 2025-26 season, and the Canadiens are eligible to have him on long-term injured reserve while he is injured. Originating from his personal collection, we have a signed glove made for Price's use, worn in some capacity as a member of the Canadiens, along with an equipment bag also used by Price in some capacity with the Canadiens. The glove is a Bauer Vapor model in solid white with "Price" embroidered, with initials from Kay Whitmore in his role as acting goaltending supervisor of the NHL. Just very light use is shown with a few marks to the pocket and red paint transfer along the pocket's edge. Price has signed in blue marker. The bag is by JRZ with Canadiens logos screened to each side, along with a placard with team logo and "31" on one side. Moderate use is shown on the bag. A hologram from Frameworth is affixed to the glove, with a Classic Auction LOA to accompany along with a Frameworth COA.
