Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
The Boston Garden saw many memorable hockey games throughout its existence. This Canadian flag was the actual flag that hung in the historic shrine and was witness to many of these games. Made by the Heritage Flag Company, this massive 10 foot by 15 foot symbol of patriotism was originally taken down when the Bruins moved to the Fleet Center in 1995. In good condition with expected wear commensurate with its former use, including some very light staining, a tag still remains attached to the flag from a previous auction it was sold in, and a few documents from said auction will accompany.
