Beginning his career in Vancouver, Cam Neely is best remembered for his time in Beantown, with All-Star Game appearances in 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1996. The BC native also earned a Bill Masterton Trophy, in 1994. A Memorial Cup champion in 1983 as a member of the Portland Winter Hawks and finally winning a Stanley Cup as Boston's President in 2011, offered here is this stick used by Neely as a member of the Bruins in the era of the late-1980s and/or early-1990s. A Canadian made 6001 Custom Pro Edition twig with "Neely" stamped over the upper shaft that is flanked by foil accent stickers on either side, the additional wrap that was once present over the lower shaft has now been lost to time. Retaining its original ribbed white tape job over the handle/knob and black over the blade, the stick exhibits good game-use via dark marks and other abrasions throughout the shaft as well as over the blade, heel and lower shaft as well as over the blade tape as well. Also showing light wear to the blade tape on the bottom edge and a small tear over the forehand side, the factory production stamp is still visible on the reverse side of the lower shaft just up from the heel. Additionally, the stick remains free from any cracks or breaks.
