A four-time NHL All-Star and a Stanley Cup champion with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010, Brian Campbell would play eight (8) years with the Buffalo Sabres, the team that drafted him 156th overall in 1997, accounting for 391 of 1082 National Hockey League games played. Offered here, is this Sabres jersey worn by Campbell during the 2000-01 season. Made by KOHO and featuring both “Made in Canada” and size “56” tags affixed to the inner collar, a KOHO patch has been added over the reverse neckline while the NHL shield is found embroidered over the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a Sabres team crest that sports numerous embroidered details, matching alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder. Accented over the sleeves and verso with Campbell’s number “51” in tri-layer tackle twill numerals, “Campbell” is spelt out in dual layer tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Worn for six (6) of the eight (8) games Brian suited up for that season, the jersey exhibits good game-use via stick marks over the sleeves, front and reverse with the sleeves also showing board burns and spots of red/pink coloured board paint transfer near the right elbow and right collarbone, where a small unrepaired hole is observed as well. Showing some fraying on the interior at the elbows and a shallow cut near the right cuff, a Sabres team tag is sewn inside the reverse hem and is accompanied by a matching Sabres COA.
