The Golden Jet took flight with his first NHL goal on October 22, 1957. Black Hawks rookie left wing Bobby Hull scored the first of his 610 NHL goals in his seventh game of the season, a 2-1 win for Chicago against the Bruins at Boston Garden. Bobby’s first goal puck was then gilt-coated and features an engraved octagonal metal plaque with “Bobby Hull 1st NHL Goal Chicago at Boston October 22, 1957” engraved on it to note the milestone. Hull finished his rookie campaign as the runner-up to Toronto’s Frank Mahovlich in Calder Trophy voting, with 13 goals and 47 points in 70 games. This awesome piece of hockey history comes with Brett Hull’s signed LOA.
