Joining six other nations including Canada, the US and Russia as Olympic gold medalists, the Czech Republic defeated Russia in the final at the 1998 Winter Games in Nagano, with Finland taking home the bronze. This Team Canada jersey has been team-signed by 21 members of Team Canada, and it hails from the personal collection of Bob Gainey. Produced by Bauer and featuring a partially embroidered Hockey Canada team crest, additional matching crests grace each shoulder, with no numbers over the sleeves or reverse. 21 have signed the front and team crest in black marker, including HOF members Gretzky, Roy, Bourque, Stevens, Lindros, Sakic and others. The signatures display nicely against the red background, with a signed LOA from Bob Gainey to accompany.
The additional signers include Joseph, Blake, Desjardins, Foote, Pronger, Brind’Amour, Corson, Fleury, Linden, Nieuwendyk, Primeau, Recchi, Shanahan and Rob Zamuner.
