Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
Dressing in just a pair of games for the Montreal Canadiens during his four seasons with the Hamilton Bulldogs, Alex Henry took part in the Habs 3-1 loss to the Boston Bruins, played on Feb 1, 2009, with Montreal wearing these special "1912-13" throwback jerseys. We offer the Canadiens jersey worn in the match by Henry. A CCM label with “58” sizing sits affixed to the collar with handwritten “1”, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the vintage “CAC” maple leaf team crest that’s been partially embroidered, a red, white and blue striping pattern has been utilized, with the tie-neck garment accented with “24” sewn to the sleeves and verso in tackle twill along with the Canadiens centennial crest over the right shoulder. Worn for just a single match, game-use is light, with a faint black mark to the lower right sleeve. The “4” on the back of the jersey features a Canadiens hologram affixed with serial number “481010", with a matching LOA from the Habs to accompany. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to add this rarer-style example to your collection.
