Once delaying the start of a St Louis Blues game by putting the puck through the boards behind the net – a testament to the ferocity of his famous booming slap shot, Al MacInnis enjoyed a lengthy and successful career as a twelve-time All-Star throughout his 23 NHL seasons. Winning the Hardest Shot Competition at the All-Star Game a record seven times, MacInnis won the event at the 1998 All-Star Game with a shot registered at 100.4 MPH while wearing the offered signed St Louis Blues alternate captain’s jersey. Starter labeling with a “54-R” size swatch is affixed to the collar, with Starter and NHL crests to the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill Blues team crest with “St Louis” embroidered, “2” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in slanted numerals, with alternate crests over each shoulder. “G” is also handwritten to the fight strap, with a Canadian flag patch to the right breast. Exhibiting light game-use, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. MacInnis has signed the reverse number. The “Set 1” team patch is screened to the inside hem near a hologram, with an LOA to accompany.
