Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Hockey’s most recognizable sweater, this Montreal Canadiens jersey was worn in the mid-1990s during the preseason by an unknown Habs prospect named “Wildenhain”. A Maska Ultrafil label and size “52” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the classic “CH” team crest, “58” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Wildenhain” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Exhibiting very light wear with a few faint marks over the right sleeve visible, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle will accompany.
