Captaining the Toronto Maple Leafs for a trio of seasons in the early-1990s, Wendel Clark was originally drafted by the blue and white in 1985, and would appear for the club in three different stints. From the twilight of his career, we have a Tampa Bay Lightning jersey worn by the Kelvington native in 1998-99. Noteworthy as the season he scored his 300th career goal, Clark would register 42 points in 62 games during his lone campaign in Florida. A CCM label and size “54” fly tag remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a textured and partially embroidered Lightning team crest, the black V-neck has been accented with “17” in stylized and oversized tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Clark” across the nameplate in matching oversized letters. The 1999 All-Star Game patch is also present, situated over the upper right chest, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. An LOA from the Lightning will accompany.
There are a few stick marks over the lower front and a bit of blue paint transfer, with additional marks and faint board burns over each sleeve. The fight strap also shows signs of repeated washings.
