With his 802nd regular season goal on March 23, 1994, Wayne Gretzky climbed past his idol, Gordie Howe, to become the NHL’s all-time goals leader. This great lot commemorating the Great One’s milestone goal against the Vancouver Canucks at the Great Western Forum features three signed items, including a ticket stub from the game that Gretzky signed in the middle in bold blue marker. Also included is a limited-edition Gretzky NHL Record Breaker plaque that displays a signed 8x10 photo of Gretzky, and a signed Gretzky 802 All-Time NHL Goal Scorer puck with limited-edition “9/200” notation and a UDA sticker with number BAD44454 affixed to the reverse, plus two souvenir 802 pucks.
The Gretzky signed photo 802 goals plaque measures 12 1/8” x 15” and displays limited-edition number “734 of 802” on the silver plaque on the bottom right;
The Gretzky-signed Canucks vs. Kings 802nd-goal game signed ticket stub measures 4 1/8” x 2” with a WGA hologram sticker affixed to the reverse;
Gretzky signed in silver paint pen in the middle of the Wayne Gretzky 802 All-Time NHL Goal Scorer puck with his facsimile signature on the bottom and limited-edition number “9/200” written in silver paint pen across the top;
Another unsigned example of that puck is include along with a Wayne Gretzky’s Toronto restaurant 802 All-Time Goal Scorer puck with a “496/802” notation in gold paint pen.
