The Boston Bruins once again claimed the Prince of Wales Trophy in 1973-74 as Wayne Cashman enjoyed the most productive season of his NHL career. Cash played in his first and only All-Star Game and was named the NHL's Second Team left winger after finishing the regular season with career highs in goals (30), assists (59) and points (89). This 13” silver-plated and wooden miniature replica of the Prince of Wales Trophy was presented to Wayne to commemorate the Bruins' first-place finish atop the East Division with a 52-17-9 record and a league-leading 113 points. "NHL Champions - Winners 1973-74 Boston Bruins" is engraved on a plaque on one side of the 2-inch-tall wood base. Wayne's and the trophy's names appear on a metal plaque. The lid has been glued shut and the trophy, which has acquired a golden patina over the years, is partially loose from the base. Nicely preserved overall, with minimal silver loss concentrated around the top of the bowl. Comes with Wayne Cashman's signed LOA.
