Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
Dressing for four different clubs throughout his lengthy NHL stay including Edmonton and Anaheim, Todd Marchant also represented the US internationally, with a Stanley Cup championship won with the Anaheim Ducks in 2007. From just his fifth full season in Edmonton, we have a photo-matched Oilers jersey worn by the Buffalo native in 1999-2000. Elite, Pro Player and sizing labels (54) are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Pro Player crests on the reverse hem. Styled with the familiar tear-drop Oilers team crest, this deep navy-blue V-neck jersey has been accented with tri-layer tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching oil rig patches over each shoulder. The NHL 2000 patch resides over the right breast. Great use is shown on the garment, including material pulls, transfer marks, scrapes, burns and puck/stick marks, with a small hole over the lower front and a pair on the lower left sleeve. Team repairs are also visible, including along the outer collar, at the top of the front band and over the left elbow. Getty Image #72455351 (Feb 18, 2000) has been matched to dark marks on the left sleeve near the elbow, and to a dark mark on the lower part of the "6" of "26" on the left sleeve. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with an LOA from the Oilers to accompany.
