Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Worn by big Tod Bertuzzi in pre-tournament games leading up to the 1998 World Championships in Switzerland is this great Team Canada jersey tagged in the collar as a "Bauer Pro" with a size "56" flap nearby. Featuring the embroidered tackle twill Hockey Canada emblem sitting square on the chest with a flowing sublimated design at the waist, this gamer has the double tackle-twill number "32" on the back and sleeves, with an airknit nameplate holding the screened-on "Bertuzzi" lettering. Condition-wise sees the team crest with puckering (and a touch on the back number), and some faint bleeding shows on the "Bertuzzi" lettering. On the back number "3" is a small ink mark, and a scattering of marks are on the sleeves and front along with a touch of sleeve board burns. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
Bertuzzi would tally a goal and 2 assists in 6 games at the '98 Worlds.
