Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016

The Calder Memorial Trophy winner with Winnipeg in 1992-93, Teemu Selanne’s record 132 points in his freshman campaign will surely never be broken. From his fifth season in Anaheim, we have an alternate captain’s Mighty Ducks jersey worn by the Finnish superstar in 1999-2000. A Pro Player label along with size tagging remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered Pro Player and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the embossed Ducks team crest in use from 1993-2006, the V-neck road sweater has been embellished with triple-twill numbers and alternate’s “A”, along with matching alternate patches over each shoulder. The important NHL 2000 patch resides above the right breast, while the team patch resides on the inside hem, and it denotes this garment as a “Set 2” example. An LOA from the Ducks will accompany.
Game-use on the highly desirable jersey includes a few large stick marks on the lower front, along with burns over each sleeve, and near the right shoulder. 8 team repairs are also present, all situated over the lower and upper portions of the right sleeve. One of the more thoroughly used Selanne examples we’ve had the pleasure of handling.
