Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
A trio of patriotic jerseys screaming red, white and blue are offered, with each Team USA sweater seeing use during training camp/pre-tournament games leading up to the 1988 Winter Olympics. Examples are present for Scott Fusco (finished third in scoring for the US at the 1988 Winter Olympics, and was a Hobey Baker Award-winner in 1986), “Kudelski” (attributed to Bob Kudelski) and “Richards” (possibly Travis or Todd Richards). Each jersey has CCM labeling along with handwritten “50” sizing (the Fusco jersey measures-out to a size 52), with tackle twill team crest and layered multi-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with Dodge advertising crests over each left breast. The Kudelski jersey doesn’t exhibit any discernible game wear, while the Richards jersey shows very light use, with a few random marks present including over the reverse “6”. Lastly, the Fusco jersey exhibits a few small random marks, with repairs over the upper left sleeve and back left shoulder. There is also some minor staining near the reverse hem.
