Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017

One of the modern era’s most stalwart defenceman who combined dependability with longevity, Ray Bourque was rightfully awarded with a Stanley Cup during his swan-song season, proving good things come to those who wait. We have a spectacular photo-matched Bruins captain’s jersey from 1992-93, and for those looking for a superior Bourque specimen… your wait is over. Maska Air-Knit labeling remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the iconic spoked-B Bruins team crest in tackle twill, the solid black V-neck has been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder along with the Stanley Cup 100th anniversary crest over the right breast. A numeric image has been matched to the small black mark on the right sleeve in the white band, and to the small black mark in the center of the team crest. An LOA from Classic will accompany.
Great game use with a small team repair in the black near the spoked-B crest, three team repairs, a burn and some black marks on the right sleeve, red paint transfer along the back hem (left hip region), pilling in the fight strap region and a mess of a left sleeve. Countless stitch jobs from the elbow down include four material-backed jobs. Another small repair is up by the “77” and it is a scrape in the first “7”, along with a scrape/mark in the “B” of the Bruins crest on front.
