Sharing Montreal Canadiens’ captain’s duties for a pair of seasons with teammate Mike Keane, Pierre Turgeon spent parts of three seasons in Quebec, with additional seasons skating for St Louis, Colorado and others. Turgeon is arguably the greatest player not yet enshrined in the HOF. This Habs captain’s jersey was issued to the superstar during the mid-1990s, circa 1996-97. A size “54” fly tag is affixed to the collar along with a laundering label attached to the inside seam, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the reverse hem. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, “77” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Turgeon” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Exhibiting no game wear or unsightly marks, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a team LOA signed by Rejean Houle will accompany.
