Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024

Winning three straight James Norris Trophy’s from 1963-65 as the league’s best defenceman, Pierre Pilote would play 890 games in the NHL, with all but 69 matches played with the Chicago Black Hawk, winning a Stanley Cup with the Windy City club in 1961. More than deserving of his Hockey Hall of Fame enshrinement in 1975 alongside George Armstrong, Ace Bailey, Glenn Hall and Gord Drillon, offered here is this Hockey Hall of Fame "Honoured Member" blazer issued to Pilote. Dating from the early-1990s based on style and labeling, the navy blue coloured blazer features ornate brass buttons over the front and cuffs while a Hall of Fame crest has been affixed over the left breast. Produced by Boulevard Club, their label is present on the interior alongside a "40R" size tag as well. Remaining in overall excellent condition with all the buttons present and accounted for, the jacket shows no major signs of wear except for a couple light marks and wrinkles. Hailing from Pilote's personal collection, a Pilote Family LOA will accompany the piece.
