The first NHL All-Star Game to employ a fantasy draft with team-selected captains, the 2011 contest was the 58th example of the popular event, with Team Staal taking on Team Lidstrom at the RBC Center in Raleigh North Carolina. Team Lidstrom was able to squeak out an 11-10 victory in the high-scoring affair. This Team Lidstrom captain’s jersey was worn in the first period by elected captain and team namesake Nicklas Lidstrom, and it’s been signed. A Reebok name band along with size tagging is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a gorgeous two-tone NHL shield team crest, the solid navy sweater has been accented with tri-colour numbers and captain’s “C”, along with matching stars along the lower front and above each cuff. The important 2011 NHL All-Star Game crest resides over the left shoulder along with a Red Wings patch over the right, while the NHLPA crest sits on the back bottom hem. With no discernible wear present, the jersey remains in absolutely stunning condition. Lidstrom has augmented the garment with an attractive thin marker signature to the top of the “5” on verso, and it displays well. A MeiGray patch numbered H05728 sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is an "NHLPA Set / Blue - Period 1 w/C” example. An LOA from the NHLPA will accompany.
