Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
At the beginning of the 1992-93 season, the Canadiens did not have a player wear the number 5 and as a result, this game-issued size 54 CCM white home jersey remained unworn. Since it had the patch for the 1993 NHL All-Star Game affixed to it, it was not put into use when the club acquired veteran defender Rob Ramage from the expansion Tampa Bay Lightning on March 20, 1993. This jersey shows no evidence of actual game wear and the original CCM and sizing tags look new and unwashed. However, there are some black marks on both arms, the crest, and in the white area below, but overall, it presents quite nicely. No nameplate was added to this jersey as there is no stitching found in that area. At the back of the bottom hem, there is a CCM logo along with the NHL shield. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
