Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
From his last of four seasons spent in Montreal, we have a “1915-16” Canadiens centennial jersey donned by Mathieu Dandenault in the third period of either or both matches on Dec 4th 2008 and March 31st 2009, and it’s been signed. Size tagging sits affixed to the collar, with handwritten “3” (for set 3), with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Adorned with the circa 1915-16 style team crest in tackle twill, the solid red tie-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the important centennial patch over the right shoulder. Game-use is light, with just a few faint board burns present. Dandenault has signed the reverse “2” in black marker, and the signature displays well. A signed letter from Mathieu Dandenault will accompany.
