Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
A veteran of over a dozen NHL seasons, three-time Stanley Cup winner Mathieu Dandenault also spent time in the ITL with HC Asiago as well as the AHL with Hartford. This “1945-46” style Montreal Canadiens centennial jersey was worn by the Sherbrooke native in the third period of the March 14th 2009 match vs New Jersey, and it’s been signed. Size tagging sits affixed to the collar, with handwritten “3” (for set 3), with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Adorned with the familiar style Habs team crest that’s been partially embroidered, the solid white sweater has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the important centennial patch over the right shoulder. A signed letter from Mathieu Dandenault will accompany.
Game-use is light, with just a few random marks present. Dandenault has signed the reverse “2” in black marker, and the signature displays well.
