Registering a record of 41-23-9 with nine (9) shutouts, a .914 save percentage and a 2.02 goals against average, Martin Brodeur would lead the New Jersey Devils to a Stanley Cup championship during the 2002-03 season, the third of his career, while also claiming the first Vezina Trophy of his career. Finishing third in Hart Memorial Trophy voting at the year's conclusion, offered here is this stick used by Brodeur during the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals against the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim that has been photo-matched to Game 6. A CCM Heaton 10 model twig in New Jersey's black, red and white colourway, "M. Brodeur" is stamped to the upper shaft. Retaining its original tape job white over the knob and black wrapped around the blade, a notation reading "ANA 6" has been penned to the tape on the knob in black marker ink. Exhibiting just light-to-moderate game-use throughout, puck marks are seen over the paddle on the forehand side as well as on both sides of the blade tape, which shows a tear near the heel on the forehand side as well. Additionally, some light marks/abrasions are present over the shaft including a couple of areas missing little bits of wood that doesn't affect the structural integrity of the piece. Regarding the aforementioned photo-matches, the stick is matched with Getty Image #2089805 and #2089799 (June 7th, 2003 vs Mighty Ducks of Anaheim - Stanley Cup Finals Game 6) to the running of the red paint at the bottom of the top serif of the middle "C" in "CCM" on the backside of the paddle and its unique pattern as well as to the indented solid white manufacturing line going through the left side of the "M" in "CCM", also on the backside of the paddle as well. Additionally, a Steiner hologram numbered "234049" has been affixed over the heel.
