Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Selected as a First Team All-Star for three consecutive seasons from 2002-04, Markus Naslund spent the bulk of his career with Vancouver, winning a Lester B. Pearson Award in 2003. We have a photo-matched Canucks captain’s jersey that was worn by the Swede in 2007-08, his final season in British Columbia. A size “58” CCM label sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with an attractive Canucks team crest with embroidered detailing, the white V-neck sweater has been accented with single blue tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with vintage-style alternate crests over each shoulder. “Naslund 19” has been handwritten along the fight strap near the MeiGray patch numbered E05561, with a matching LOA to accompany.
Game-wear consists of marks over the front and sleeves, with interior pilling in spots. Each sleeve also sports a team repair, with a small hole just above the right cuff. Getty Images #78540492 and #78540568 from Dec 12th 2007 have been matched to the black mark below the team crest, and to the long loose thread on the "N" of "Vancouver" above the team crest.
