With a career shortened by post-concussion syndrome, Marc Savard skated for a number of clubs throughout his career, chiefly Calgary and Boston, with a Stanley Cup won with the Beantowners in 2011. Hailing from both the regular season and Stanley Cup playoffs, we have a Boston Bruins jersey worn by the Ottawa native in 2007-08, and it’s been photo-matched. CCM size “54” labeling sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines. Styled with the iconic spoked-B Bruins team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the solid white tie-neck has been accented with tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Custom-shortened cut sleeves have also been utilized. A MeiGray patch numbered “E11086” resides over the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
Game-wear includes faint burns over each elbow along with paint transfer over the left sleeve, with a team repair just over the right sleeve’s striping band. Getty Image #80372684 from March 22nd 2008 has been matched to the team repair below the #91 on the right sleeve, while Getty Image #80347055 - also from March 22 - has been matched to a pair of faint black marks on the lower left sleeve; one at the junction of the white and yellow band, the other, in the lower white striping band.
