Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
The first Dane in history to be a part of a Stanley Cup championship, where he scored the Cup-clinching goal for the Washington Capitals in 2018, Lars Eller spent six seasons with the Bleu Blanc Rouge before winning Lord Stanley’s grail. We have a photo-matched Canadiens jersey that was worn by the 1,000+ game veteran during the 2014-15 NHL season. A size “56” CCM label is affixed to the collar with handwritten “2”, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the famous CH team crest partially-embroidered, the “Away Set 2” V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Eller” across the nameplate in single blue twill. The jersey also sports the Jean Beliveau memorial patch over the right breast. Game-use includes a few puck and stick marks to the front and sleeves, with a single material-backed team repair to the lower right sleeve and red paint transfer to the left sleeve. Getty Image #855650454 (Jan 2, 2015) has been matched to the two stick marks on the left sleeve directly to the left of the "8" of "81". The team patch (A03463) sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GU04399” has been affixed to the reverse “1”, with a matching LOA from the Canadiens to accompany.
