Featuring a total of sixteen first-round draft picks, seven players that appeared in the final of the 2010 World Junior Championships, and the 2009 and 2010 CHL Players-of-the-Year, the 2010-11 Young Stars Tournament took place in Penticton, British Columbia from Sept 12th to 15th, and featured matches between Vancouver, Edmonton, San Jose, Calgary and Anaheim. This photo-matched Oilers jersey was worn by Jordan Eberle in each of Edmonton’s three contests. An Elite label and “56” size tag are affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic oil drop team crest with embroidered detailing, “78” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Eberle” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. The “Set 1” team patch resides on the inside hem near a MeiGray crest numbered “H01196”, with a matching team LOA to accompany along with a signed stretched canvas of Eberle wearing this jersey (18” x 18”).
Sporting light to moderate game-use, there are a few dark marks visible over the front and sleeves, with a few specks of blue paint transfer on the lower left sleeve. Getty Image #104413203 (Young Stars Tournament Sept 15, 2011 vs San Jose) has been matched to the extended red thread visible at the base of the team crest, with the red thread at the middle left of the crest as well as the extended white thread at the base of the right shoulder's seam also visible, while Getty Image #104412763 (Young Stars Tournament Sept 15, 2011 vs San Jose) has been matched to the dark mark directly above the "78" on the right sleeve, with the extended blue tread at the bottom of the top section of the "7" of "78" also visible.
