Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
A product of Boston University, Jay Pandolfo skated for over a dozen seasons in New Jersey, with single seasons later spent with the Islanders and Bruins. We have a Devils jersey that was worn by the Winchester native during Game 2 of the first round of the 1998 Stanley Cup playoffs, on April 24th. Pandolfo would see action in only 3 playoff games in 1998, registering a pair of assists. A size “58” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a gorgeous red, white and black Devils’ team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the white V-neck has been accented with oversized red sleeve and verso numbers with black trim, with “Pandolfo” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. With just a few marks visible including beneath the front right shoulder, the jersey remains in wonderful condition. The team patch has been screened onto the inside hem, and it denote’s the garment as a “Playoff Set” example. An LOA from the Devils will accompany, along with a COR from MeiGray.
