Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
A graduate of Boston University, Ed Ronan was drafted by Montreal in 1987, with his career consisting of parts of four seasons with the Habs, along with partial seasons with Winnipeg and Buffalo. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Massachusetts native during the mid-1990s, in either 1993-94, or 1994-95, his final season in Quebec. A Maska Ultrafil label and size “54” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “31” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Ronan” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Nice game use is exhibited on the sweater, with marks and burns over each sleeve along with a few rips over the upper right sleeve including at the sleeve number, with some pilling to the interior beneath the fight strap. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, an LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
