Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
Drafted by the New York Rangers but only playing 10 games for the club in 2010-11 before being dealt to Vancouver, Dale Weise represented the Montreal Canadiens in two different stints during his career, including for parts of three seasons beginning in 2013-14. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Winnipegger during the 2019-20 Stanley Cup playoffs, specifically vs Pittsburgh in the Eastern Conference qualifying round, on August 5th (Game 3) and August 7th (Game 4). Made by Adidas, a band displaying both size "56" and "Made in Canada" designations is affixed to the inner collar while crests of both the NHL and Adidas adorn the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with Montreal's famed "CH" team crest, the sleeves and verso have been styled with number "22" in dual layer white-over-blue tackle twill numerals. Worn in just a pair of games where Weise had a total ice time of 14:38, the jersey shows very light use. The team patch numbered “A07145” sits on the inside hem, while a hologram affixed to the reverse number matches the accompanying LOA from the Canadiens.
