Recreating the fictional world of Tintin and its many inhabitants, this lot includes a large group of “La Collection Officielle” figurines with matching numbered hard cover booklet totaling 111, with each book containing a small individual passport (books are numbered #1 to #111, with duplicate copies of #27, #41 and #98, for a total of 114 books). Produced in the early-2010s (from 2011 to 2015), each polyresin figurine is approx 5” in height give or take, with the booklets 7” x 7 ½”. Titles/figurines include “Milou”, “Miarka”, “Bohlwinkel”, “Omar Ben Salaad”, “Dupont”, “Laszlo Carreidas”, “Basil Bazaroff”, “Foudre Benie”, “Le Colonel Jorgen”, “Le Caporal Diaz”, “Madame Clairmont”, “Mik Ezdanitoff”, “Muganga”, “Haddock” and many others.
The books are all in beautiful condition with no issues, with three of the figurines having the bases broken off, with a fourth figurine that has a detached sword.

Following the exploits of youthful Belgian reporter and adventurer Tintin and his trusty canine companion Snowy, well-structured plots encompassing numerous themes enthralled readers, with both satire and cultural commentary exploited by creator Herge (Georges Remi). This collection of Tintin items includes a number of desirable keepsakes and collectibles, all of which feature the French language.
